Reason: With greenhouse gas emissions of 31 grams per passenger kilometer, the coach is not only the lowest-emission means of travel, but also consumes the least amount of fuel at 1.4 liters per passenger per 100 km. In addition, a modern touring coach saves space on the street and in the city centers thanks to its average occupancy of 64 percent compared to a car, which is occupied by an average of only 1.5 people. It also has the lowest environmental costs per person-kilometer. A trip / trip by bus is therefore environmentally friendly and actively supports climate protection.
